FLY Carolers at Jill's House in Bloomington
Singing slightly out-of-tune FLY brought a modicum of Christmas cheer to the residents at Jill’s House and members of Faith Lutheran Church that are unable to attend services regularly.
The dress was the most confusing part. Upon arrival, most folks thought we were part of a Pittsburgh marketing team with all the black and gold, not bearers of tidings of joy. Evidently only Leah and Peter are cheesy enough to wear Christmas red while caroling.
Also of note is the joy that Hannah got from writing Christmas messages on the couch. Notice the word “Merry”. Kinda wierd…
So, it was fun and we’ll definitely do it again next year. People really enjoyed it, especially at Bell Trace where we caught a member arriving early in the dining hall and entertained the whole place. Pretty cool.
